radio EARTH is an international broadcasting service reaching listeners in the Americas, eastern and western Europe, the Middle East, northern Africa, and many other parts of the world.
Headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, and with studios and correspondents around the globe, radio EARTH presents programming of universal interest to an audience of people who want a broader perspective on the political, cultural, and social issues of our day.
Unlike most international services, radio EARTH does not seek to advocate a particular interest or point of view. Instead, we present a variety of programs which appeal to listeners everywhere, either because the program deals with an issue of global concern, or because it portrays a unique person, group, or region from which a listener can gain insight, understanding or, perhaps, simple entertainment.
Although radio EARTH's main magazine, The World, is no longer in production, radio EARTH is still active, and is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, radioEARTH.net will soon have downloadable audio files of The World, images of QSL cards, and other information…past, present, and future…about radio EARTH.
